My Top Reasons as to why you’d buy an iPad

1. It is really handy if you want to access the Internet quickly. Browsing the web on your phone is not always ideal as the screen size is often too small. It takes ages to boot up computers and often they are not as mobile as an iPad.

2. Following on from the above the size does make it very handy. I love sitting on the couch at home, with my iPad on my lap, reading some books, checking out Facebook, playing some apps. I can’t do that with a desktop!

3. It's a great way to show photos. I've recently got married and it's a great way to show family and friends the wedding snaps or the honeymoon snaps without carrying photo albums around - especially when you travel overseas

4. And again on the above point it really came in handy when traveling. I have the WiFi version of the iPad and most hotels offer free WiFi these days. It was so handy waking up in the morning, accessing emails, checking out where to go that day, where to eat etc. without having to find an Internet cafe. It was also great being able to upload the photos after each day of our travels and to see them on such a lovely big screen. You do need an extra device from Apple to do this which is about $50.

So yes, my iPad is an indulgence and I know I could live without it but I really do find it handy. Right now I'm sitting outside on a glorious sunny day writing this article - so that's pretty cool!
