OLAY Total Effects Anti Ageing
16-Nov-2010 By LindaFor those of you who can remember years back to the marketing blitz, OLAY are the people who ‘invented’ the ‘seven signs of ageing’, and then set about marketing a moisturiser to combat them. While I’m sceptical about the need to declare warfare on my skin, and to this day have no idea what the seven signs are, I have to admit that under all the marketing hype is a great product that speaks for itself.
OLAY Total Effects is my absolute staple moisturiser. It’s a reliable, consistent performer. It has a nice light fragrance and goes on easily, leaving your skin feeling soft and nourished. It’s light but still moisturising so you get hydration without feeling oily, and the SPF15 gives your skin protection from the sun. At around $30AUD it’s reasonably priced too.
The only downside for me is that in winter, it’s not quite moisturising enough for my dry skin and I find that I need to change to something a bit heavier.
Do you like this product or have anything to contribute?
