Lancome Flash Bronzer Night Sun

23-Nov-2010 By SD
I very rarely wear foundation. It just doesn’t suit me and whenever I do wear it I believe it makes me look older – unless I’m going out for a big night where I’ll be under soft lighting!

So rather than spend money on foundation, I spend my dollars on making my skin look as good as possible so it doesn’t look like I need to wear foundation – but as I continue to age I wonder how long I can keep this up?!

One thing I feel does help is when I have some colour on my face – but as we are told to keep out of the sun as it causes aging (and I spend most of my days in an office), this is not always easy to achieve.

So when I heard about this new product from Lancôme – a night time moisturiser with a built in self tan for the face - I was keen to give it a try. I like the idea of having the tan work overnight – and not during the day. And I like products that have more than one benefit too – moisturiser AND tan, all in one.

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and I am impressed. The substance is pleasant and is absorbed easily. You can feel it moisturising as well as tanning which is also pleasing. It does have that familiar smell of fake tan, but it is not overly strong. And you don’t have to be paranoid about it rubbing on to your pillow and creating a patchy effect on your face as this has not been a problem for me at all.

One suggestion though – it is pretty effective so you do not need to use it every night (unless you want the Donatella Versace look). Two to three times a week at the most is my suggestion. And as for the price, I bought it online for $45 so it is pretty reasonably priced as well.

I purchased the product from Fresh Cosmetics.
