Family Cookbook Ideas
09-Jun-2011 By SDWell this is basically the idea behind the Family Cookbook. But instead of sending photos, you scan in all those favourite family recipes that you have on bits of paper lying around – including some photos of the actual results as well if you’d like - and turn them into a beautifully printed book that you can give to your family members to treasure forever.
My friend did this with her mother’s recipes, prior to her mother passing away from breast cancer last year. She had such wonderful memories of all the lovely food her mother used to make, so she wanted to be able to always access these recipes – not only for her but for her brothers and sisters, to enjoy now and pass down to future generations. Such a wonderful idea and a lovely way to keep the memory of her mother alive.
Winkflashis the company she used to create the amazing published book of her mothers recipes and would highly recommend to check it out althought there are many sites now including snapfish and even BigW that do the same job.
