Biore Restore Skin Boosting Night Serum

I guess I have fallen for the marketing hype, but I do like to apply a different lotion on my skin at night to the one that I apply in the morning. Partly because my day moisturiser contains an SPF factor, which you obviously don’t need at night, and partly because it is nice to have something different to use.

I am very diligent about my cleanse, tone and moisturise routine (once in the morning, once at night) so I’m always on the look-out for new products, or products that better suit my changing skin.

Whilst I’m happy to spend considerable dollars on my day moisturizer, I don’t feel it is as necessary to spend as much on the night one. So I was keen to try the Biore product as it is very reasonably priced at around $17 per bottle.

Don’t let the word “serum” put you off. Biore even admit on the packet that it can be used with or instead of a moisturiser. Personally I feel that it is enough by itself, and that using an additional moisturiser would just be a waste.

I really liked the consistency of the product as it is nice and light and easy to apply. It absorbed well into my skin, had a lovely subtle fragrance, and left my skin feeling plump and fresh after application. I enjoyed using it, and like the way it made my skin feel. You do need about 3-4 pumps of the serum per application, but the bottle still lasts for about 2-3 months. My only negative comment is that as it is a very light product, it may not be heavy enough for winter months when you are looking for something a bit thicker. But for the warmer months of the year, the consistency is just perfect.

So overall, I’ve enjoyed using this product, will look to purchase it again, and would gladly recommend it to others.
